TESLA Exploration International provides a comprehensive range of geophysical services to a wide and growing client base across the oil, gas, coal, mineral, water and major civil engineering industries. The company owns and operates specialised seismic recording equipment including 37,000 channels of the ARAM ARIES. As well, we offer a wide variety of source types i.e. the I/O AHV4, Sercel Nomad and IVI ATS Vibrator Units with Pelton or Seismic Source electronics. We are experienced with acquiring 2D, 3D, 3D-3C and 4D land seismic surveys using either explosives and/or Vibrators as a source. As well, we have acquired multiple marine surveys with airgun sources; all supported by a full seismic processing, mapping and interpretation service.

Since 1998, in addition to work in Europe and the UK, TESLA Exploration International crews have been operating almost continually on the African continent in Congo (Brazzaville), Ethiopia, Madagascar, Uganda, Tanzania, Morocco, and Puntland (Somalia), successfully overcoming the unique challenges of terrain and culture presented by each country.

In recognition of the overseas operations, the company received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2000. Additionally, our staff comprise the world’s most experienced practitioners of underground seismic for in-mine exploration, having applied the technique to four continents and received the Queen’s Award for Technological Achievement during its development.

For the past 25 years our personnel have been continually involved with research to improve geophysical imaging of the subsurface.
