The surface acquisition capability of IMC Geophysics
comprises personnel and equipment for 2D and 3D land and transition zone seismic
surveys. The core team of personnel has wide-ranging experience, gained on
average over 25 years in the industry, in virtually every exploration area of
the world. Recent surveys include shallow marine/transition zone surveys in
Cuba, France, Uganda and the UK, land dynamite surveys in the UK, Austria,
Bangladesh, Congo, France, Georgia, Italy, Morocco, Papua New Guinea, Portugal,
Spain, Tanzania and Uganda and Vibroseis 2D and 3D surveys in the UK, Denmark,
France, Germany, Austria and Italy.
Recording equipment can be offered including 24 bit ARAM
instrumentation for deep and shallow hole dynamite or Vibroseis operations
worldwide. Pelton electronics are offered in I/0 AHV4 – 362 buggy mounted
vibroseis units. The acquisition operation can be supported by field processing
systems using the Advance Geophysical (Landmark) family of software.
