seismic data processing and reprocessing |
IMC Geophysics has wide experience of processing high
resolution seismic data from around the world. Seismic lines and 3D
volumes are processed
individually by specialists with geological backgrounds. Emphasis is placed on
attention to detail thereby enabling clients to derive the maximum potential
from their data.
A full range of optional additional processing services are
offered including refraction statics, AVO, DMO, attribute analysis and
modelling, plus a full range of SP manipulation and mapping facilities.
On-site processing in the field is accomplished using
Advance Geophysical (Landmark) software or Parallel Geoscience SPW software enabling rapid assessment of the
effectiveness of data acquisition parameters and of geological structures
imaged. The versatility of the hardware and software allows processing in
difficult physical conditions and areas of the world with poor
communications.
IMC Geophysics’ processing centre operates the latest version
of Advance Geophysical’s (Landmark) ProMAX 2D and 3D processing software, on
Linux and SPARC hosts and has underlined its reputation with the completion of a
series of processing and reprocessing projects requiring high resolution land
and marine experience.
IMC Geophysics is also highly experienced in reprocessing
early seismic datasets, particularly those with static problems, low signal to
noise ratios and mis-ties with other datasets. Its geophysicists have the
ability to process data with incomplete associated Observers logs and Nav data using deductive
reconstruction techniques.
